  • Facilities Manager (with Health & Safety) – Westwood College

    37 hours per week, 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday, whole year

    Grade 09 – £32,234 – £36,922 gross per annum

    1 in 4 rota for weekend security checks/emergency call out

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced individual who will successfully lead and manage the site and facilities provision across the school with accountability for health & safety.

    Reporting to the Headteacher, you will be able to demonstrate successful line management of teams, be highly motivated and be a hands on professional to proactively monitor and manage the site, projects and SLAs, whilst effectively negotiating contract services and products.

    You will need a proven track record in site operations/facilities, effective communication, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, external contractors and suppliers. Problem solving, results focused and resilience are also key to the success of this role.  Previous experience of working in a similar role within a school environment is desirable.

    Formal qualifications in operational management and Health & Safety are required.
