This letter contains information on the return to school next week, from Monday 7th June.

As you can imagine, our aim will be to ensure that the school environment is as safe as it possibly can be for students and staff alike.

With this in mind, and following liaison with Public Health England, we will next week expect all students and staff to wear face masks in all indoor communal spaces (other than when eating or drinking), and in classrooms. Students coped admirably with this requirement on their return to school in March, and although we know it is not ideal, we are sure that they will cope with this expectation again. Students should bring masks with them to school each day. We do have a stock of masks in school should a student break or forget to bring one, but this should be an exception rather than a rule.
