September Update 2023

Welcome to the beginning of a new academic year – I hope that you and your families have enjoyed the summer break.
I would like to take the opportunity to welcome our new Year 9 students to Westwood College. Though the large majority of students will have visited us in July, we are very conscious that starting a new school is a big step. As we shared with students and parents during last term’s transition events, our aim is to support students in settling into Westwood as quickly as possible. Students will spend time with their Tutor and teachers this week going through the different policies and systems that operate at Westwood as well as being introduced to the site and their timetable. Students and parents should speak to Form Tutors should they have any queries or concerns.
