Year 9 Enterprise Challenge Days

 Each year, our Year 9 students take part in the exciting Enterprise Challenge Day, proudly sponsored by F-Ball. 

The event gives students the chance to step into the world of business, working together to develop ideas, solve problems, and pitch their own creative ventures.

During the day, students will take part in a range of activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking, The day begins with a fun icebreaker challenge such as constructing the tallest tower from spaghetti and marshmallows before moving on to the main event: the ‘Tenner Challenge’.

In this challenge, each team is given just £10 to create and plan a small business, Students work collaboratively to research their ideas, design logos and promotional materials, and plan how to turn their concept into a successful enterprise. They’ll also prepare a professional pitch to present to a panel of ‘dragons’.

Throughout the day, representatives from F-Ball share their industry experience and offer valuable guidance, helping students to think like real entrepreneurs.

The Enterprise Challenge Day is always a highlight of the school year a chance for students to be creative, develop key life skills, and experience the excitement of bringing their own business ideas to life.
