Lines of Communication

At Westwood College, we are committed to ensuring clear and consistent communication between school and home. This partnership is central to our values of Respect, Resilience, Ambition, and Pride, and underpins our shared responsibility to help every student be Ready, Respectful, and Safe. 

To support this, we have produced two guidance documents which set out how communication works between home and school: 

1. School to Home Communication – explains how and when we will contact you, including updates on attendance, wellbeing, progress, and behaviour.
2. Home to School Communication – outlines how you can reach the right member of staff depending on your query or concern.

These flowcharts have been created to make it easier for families to know who to contact, how to do so, and what to expect in response. We kindly ask that you read both attachments carefully and keep them for future reference.
