School Operations Manager

Overview

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, proactive and highly organised School Operations Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across Westwood College and Leek High School. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth, safe and effective operation of two thriving secondary schools. Reporting to the Executive Headteacher, the successful candidate will oversee facilities management, health and safety compliance, ICT services and administrative functions, helping to create outstanding environments where staff and students can flourish.

Personal attributes

Significant experience of premises, facilities and health and safety management.
Experience of managing and developing multidisciplinary teams

Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Experience of working within a school, trust, public sector or similar environment.
A sound understanding of statutory compliance and risk management.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A commitment to delivering exceptional operational support services.
